I am writing concerning any actors who want to pursue Acting Out Studio to gain fun, insight, awesome friends, and growth within yourself and as a team, especially if you get a chance to work the amazing EB and that is not the Easter Bunny! She has coached me from the beginning from the hardest auditions to bookings Including my latest one “Insidious: The Last Key” where I play young Christian.  I so love my improv team and we just so EB. Love me Pierce. -Pierce Pope, AOS Student

Pierce has been hard at work on set of Insidious 4 and Seven Days till Midnight. He has also played roles in Girl Meets World, It’s Supernatural, Haunted, short and independent films such as You + Me, Flashlight, As Good as You, and Chasing Grace. He also has worked on various music videos and commercials for companies such as NASCAR, Shell, Volkswagen, Charlotte Seen and DNA PSA’s.

Acting Out Studio helped make my daughter’s dream become a reality. Not only does she receive exceptional training from incredible talented teachers, she is provided opportunities to shoot for the stars and go for her dream. A little skeptical going in, Abby attended Talent Inc…it was the best decision we have ever made for her. She signed with 2 agents and a manger. She was on her way to living her dream. Thank you AOS and Talent Inc. for making Abby’s dreams come true. I highly recommend AOS & Talent Inc. to anyone looking for the best acting/modeling/voice training in NC and Talent Inc. for those who are ready to take it to the next level!

Ivan and I continue to be awed by the support and education we have both received from Acting Out Studio.  Despite Ivan’s passion and aptitude for acting, we both agree that he would not be in LA right now without everything Acting Out Studio has gifted him with.  The classes, workshops, coaching and “extras” like The Actees have been incredible. But even more important has been the emotional support and encouragement that everyone at AOS has generously provided.  I’ll second Ivan’s statement that you genuinely care for your students beyond any mere business relationship. You’ve supported us through our beginnings in the acting industry and we will truly NEVER forget the role that everyone at AOS has played in helping Ivan pursue his acting career. Ivan often gets compliments about his preparedness and the tools he uses at auditions. Not only have you taught and prepared Ivan well but you have been an incredible source of support for me. You have prepped us both so well for the next stages of his adventures in acting and we’ve made some life-long friends with AOS and a few of the families we have met there.  This is a crazy business but the education and support has helped us maintain our sanity and patience. Kamber, you are amazing and you have built an acting studio that reflects that. Simply expressing “thank you” does not come close to conveying our gratitude for the connections you made for Ivan and his LA meetings. Getting interest from all of the agents and managers we met with was almost overwhelming but gave us the confidence that we would be well-represented with any choice we made. The excellent respect you have earned with your contacts in LA were essential to us getting these meetings. No one else can take any credit for opening those doors to us. Ivan now has what we believe to be the best team of representation here in LA.

Kamber has been a key partner in Austin’s development.  Kamber films and coaches Austin for all auditions and works directly with Austin’s manager and LA coaches to equip Austin for each audition.  Kamber’s first-hand experience in the industry and her close working relationship with industry professionals makes her studio unique in the Charlotte market.

Acting Out Studio, thank you so much for the support you have given Caleb in his acting pursuits. Throughout his years with you, he has gained confidence, on-camera techniques, and auditioning skills. The improv program has helped him to grow as an actor and as a person.  It has enhanced his creativity, communication skills, and ability to think quickly. We also appreciate the professional audition-taping services you offer. With your help, Caleb has been able to book commercial, television and film work!

At Acting Out Studio Charlotte has been TRULY blessed to connect with EB (Elizabeth Byland) who she considers her mentor. I have seen firsthand how EB really cares about her students and really cares about the quality performance they do. EB is a true professional and Charlotte/AOS is lucky to have her. She really knows her stuff and is very talented. Charlotte is so passionate about improv, she would never miss a class if at all possible. EB has helped her to become more comfortable on stage and confident and she has really blossomed by joining the improv team. Charlotte also had a great experience in acting class with PJ, he is also very professional and I can tell REALLY cares about his students. Kamber (owner) has been available and helpful at any turn where I needed a recommendation or assistance.  She also offered an ‘industry’ workshop before Talent Inc. that helped us consider whether Charlotte would like to get into the “business”. She gave me time on the phone when we were considering what agents to utilize in NY and needed help finding an acting coach out of state. AOS even helped with setting up headshots with a really great photographer in from LA. It really has been a full service studio for our us. We are blessed to have AOS up in the Lake Norman area, and I hope that the studio continues to grow and offer even more opportunities.

Our experience with Acting Out Studio has been nothing short of amazing. My daughter has received top quality instruction from experienced and talented professionals. It really is a full-service studio with audition coaching/taping, a full instruction portfolio, professional projects and performances, affiliation with Talent Inc. and much more. Kamber has provided incredible support and guidance on navigating the entertainment industry. AOS management and staff have a tireless dedication to their students (and parents!).

iI have been doing musical theater since I was 5 but Acting Out Studio has given me more confidence and helped me open up more doors of opportunity for me as I am currently in LA following my dream which wouldn’t of happened without the guidance I received from Kamber and Acting Out Studio. This has been absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had. The teachers are fun and amazingly creative and supportive and I have made some really good friends. I would recommend AOS to anyone.

Acting Out Studio is an amazing resource for actors of all ages and levels. They have so many fun and challenging classes. All 3 of my children have taken classes there and have been fortunate enough to get an agent and become working actors. Plus, acting has given them the confidence in so many other areas of their lives.

Charlie’s active participation in weekly scene study at Acting Out Studio definitely led to increased confidence and honed his acting skills. Even at 5 years old, he could observe his classmates in an exercise and then use that insight to help improve his next attempt at the scene. The “intro” skills these kids learn in Acting I are actually the ultimate foundation for all actors that want to consistently book work: following directions, learning how to work effectively in an ensemble scene, understanding the power of stillness, utilizing constructive feedback, and figuring out how to improve your work after watching yourself on playback. Acting is an extremely competitive business. Agents and Casting Directors really focus on the training section of actor resumes during the callback phases. A history of dedicated training helps them feel confident in their final selections…because their reputation is also on the line with every booking!
