AOS Acting for the Camera Classes are where our actors train to be successful working actors. Our curriculum comes from a collection of top industry professionals. We give our actors the tools and knowledge to succeed. Our classes are divided depending on experience level. Click on class names below to read a description and age groups available.
Acting I students will learn the fundamentals of basic acting and the audition process while having fun! Students will work on commercials, improv, film scenes and monologues. Actors will complete the level 1 class with an accelerated sense of self as an actor achieved through both solo work as well as working with others.
This class is by invitation only. In this advanced class students will rise to the challenge of tackling material and industry concepts on par with that of more seasoned actors. Students will work on improv, commercial, film scenes and monologues. This class is focused on preparing actors for the audition room by getting them to make strong, unique choices, break down material, listening and reacting and being in the moment. The Acting 3 students will gain a solid perspective of themselves as well as an understanding of the industry.
This class is by invitation only to students who have been enrolled at AOS for at least 2 years. This class will primarily focus on mastering the audition process and booking the job. This class will give students real life professional acting experiences that will help them feel prepared for their next audition or day on set.
“All In,” led by Scott DeFalco, is an advanced, audition-only program for ages 13+, providing rigorous, real-world training to prepare serious actors for successful careers.
Learning techniques such as Scene Study, Cold Reading, Commercial Training, Hosting/Spokesperson work, True Listening, and Owning the Room will thoroughly prepare you for your future in the entertainment industry. Mastering these skills gives you the competitive edge to excel in a wide range of performance opportunities.
Students can attend as many classes as they want all summer long for one price. Join AOS during the months of June and July for unlimited classes.
