SPiN LA was an unforgettable experience for DJ and quite an adventure for our entire family! DJ walked away with more confidence, meaningful industry exposure, and multiple agency callbacks. Since returning home, those callbacks have led to thoughtful conversations with respected agents who see potential for him in film, television, commercials, and even voiceover.
I still cannot believe Acting Out Studio took my Minecraft-loving teenage boy and prepared him to command the runway, sing, and act with such confidence! Watching him truly enjoy himself was one of the greatest gifts of the entire experience.
What impressed us most was that SPiN was about so much more than callbacks. DJ learned how to present himself professionally, communicate with confidence, and better understand what it takes to pursue acting seriously. As his parents, we also received a crash course in the entertainment industry and discovered just how many notes one mom can take during an agency Zoom!
We especially enjoyed meeting SPiN CEO Joe Lorenzo. Joe has created a real platform that educates young performers, builds their confidence, and gives them a meaningful opportunity to launch their careers. His support made us feel that DJ was truly seen, not simply as another participant, but as a young person with potential.
We are equally grateful to Acting Out Studio for preparing DJ, believing in him, supporting us throughout the experience, and continuing to guide our family afterward. SPiN opened doors for DJ, but it also helped him see that his dreams are possible when preparation meets opportunity and when Mom remembers which agency meeting is scheduled for which day!
We are excited to see where this journey leads and look forward to being a wonderful testimony to both SPiN LA and Acting Out Studio.
With gratitude,
Stacie Nowlin
