Once students have mastered the fundamentals of improv and can apply them confidently onstage, they may be invited to audition for our Performance Level. These elite teams are carefully grouped by style and personality to form dynamic ensembles with strong onstage chemistry. Representing the most talented, driven, and professional performers in our program, each team develops its own unique form, distinguishing them not only from one another but also from other teams in the Charlotte area. Modeled after renowned institutions like The Second City, ImprovOlympic (iO), and UCB, our performance program offers a true professional-level experience, with shows held in our state-of-the-art black box theatre, The Basement, or at their home studio.
