SPiN Audition FAQ
What is the free workshop/audition?
A FREE Industry 101 Workshop + Audition for your chance to break into the acting industry and be considered for our selective SPiN cast.
Is the workshop/audition free?
Yes.
Does attending the workshop/audition guarantee I'll go to SPiN?
No. SPiN is audition-based. If you're not selected this time, you can always audition again.
Who can audition?
All ages can audition.
Does my child need acting experience?
No! Actors of all experience levels are welcome to audition. We're looking for potential, personality, and a willingness to learn.
What should they prepare?
Prepare a 1 min monologue and, if a singer, a 1 min song. The audition takes place in person at Acting Out Studio.
When will I find out if I made the cast?
You will be emailed within 48 hours. You will then have 24 hours to confirm your spot in the cast.
What happens if they're selected?
If selected, you'll earn a spot on the prestigious AOS SPiN Cast and begin an incredible journey from training at AOS to performing in Hollywood. You'll receive 40 hours of professional acting training, personalized industry guidance, and career consultation, then travel to Hollywood to showcase your talent in front of top talent agents, managers, and industry professionals from across the country.
This isn't just a trip to Hollywood — it's an opportunity to be seen, make industry connections, and take a major step toward becoming a working actor.
