Smera Chandan is a current sophomore and double major in Theatre and Film/TV Production at the University of Southern California. She has been teaching at AOS for 4 years now and loves being able to share her passions with the kids she teaches. Some of her hobbies outside filmmaking/acting include watercolor painting, screenwriting and exploring new parts of the world.
Emerson Riggs is a rising sophomore in college and was a student as AOS her junior year of high school. She is a theatre and marketing major, but planning on going into education. Emerson also loves to sing, spend time with any animal, and watch horror movies.
Aliyah Kasimov is a rising freshman in college at University of South Carolina Honors College. She has taken many theater classes and performed in numerous AOS productions. Aliyah loves musical theater and all styles of dance. In her free time, Aliyah loves to sing, listen to music, and spend time with her family and friends.
Mia Chaney is a rising senior in high school and has been at AOS since she was nine-years-old. She enjoys musical theater, improv, and most of all film acting. In her free time, Mia loves to read, sing, listen to music, and play with her puppy.
Abbigail Chandler has been working at AOS for 2 years now. She’s been acting and singing since she was ten years old and still loves it. Her favorite thing about AOS is teaching summer camps.
Rachel Sumoski is a rising sophomore in college at Michigan State University. She has been at acting out studio since she was 8 years old. She loves the environment at AOS and could not be more happy to come back! She loves performing and has been in many things like plays, musicals, short-films, improv performances and more. She cannot wait for the summer to be back at AOS.
Eden Kincer is a rising Senior in highschool and has been with AOS for 6 years now, she loves acting, improv, and watching musical theater. Eden enjoys taking time to be creative with art, writing, playing music with her friends
Amelia was born in Texas, raised in Colorado and currently lives in Waxhaw, NC. She has been performing since she was 3 years old and has competed in gymnastics, dance and ice skating. She has been part of the theater community since she was 9 years old. Amelia has previously worked as both a dance and gymnastics coach and loves working with kids, especially helping them build confidence and express themselves through performance. When she’s not teaching or training, she enjoys watching horror movies, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and hanging out with her mom.
Ella Mason is a graduating senior attending the American academy of dramatic arts in the fall. She loves film, acting and everything creative! In her free time she loves to travel and explore places! Ella has worked at AOS for 3 years and was a student for 2 years! She is super excited for this summer!!
Whitney Johnson is a sophomore at Oklahoma City University where she will be getting a BFA in Acting. She has been in plays and musicals, as well as student films and has done featured extra work in tv shows. She took private voice at AOS in middle and high school. She also played Morticia in the AOS production of the Addams Family. This is Whitney’s third summer as a camp counselor and can’t wait for the summer to start!
Camryn is a rising junior who has been part of the AOS community for two years. She has a passion for acting, musical theatre, and dance, and also enjoys writing, music, and spending time with friends. Camryn is excited to bring her creativity, enthusiasm, and love for working with kids to camp this summer!
Allie LeVasseur is a rising senior and she has been at AOS for five years. This is her second year being a camp counselor and she is so excited to be back! Her main focus is acting, but she also has a soft spot for musical theater.
Ava Bender is a rising freshman at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. She has been a part of AOS since 2015 and has also done Talent Inc. Ava has worked on projects such as Outer Banks, The Gilded Age, and The Idea of You. She is very excited to be back again this summer as a counselor!
