Skylar Schock was born and raised in the Bay Area, before moving to Southern California where she earned her BA in Communication at the University of California, San Diego and then moved to Los Angeles where she attended UCLA’s Professional Program in Acting for the Camera as well as served as an assistant in the Professional Program in Producing. Skylar most recently earned her MFA in Acting Performance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is an alumni of the Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive and the Gatley Poole Meisner Acting Intensive.

Skylar is a Bi-Coastal Actor and Stand Up Comic, Writer, and Producer. Stage credits include Varya in The Cherry Orchard, and Helena in Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Nevada Conservatory Theatre. Film credits include the role of Anna in the feature film Night Lily, Vivian in the award-winning short She Had it Coming directed by Gedde Watanabe. As a comedian, she has performed all over the country including at The Comedy Store in La Jolla, Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas, The Comedy Chateau in Los Angeles, and on the Laugh After Dark comedy stage.
