Musical Theater Instructor
Michelle is beyond thrilled to be teaching at Acting Out Studio! A South Carolina native, Michelle has been acting for over a decade now on both on stage and screen. Some of her favorite credits include Gingy in Shrek: The Musical, Leanne in Puffs: Or Several Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, and Bailey in the Polar Express Train Ride in Miami, Florida during the 2021 and 2022 season. She has also directed several children’s theatre shows, her favorite being The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. One of Michelle’s greatest passions is learning and growing as an artist herself, and she has trained at institutions such as the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and A Class Act NY, and she loves to pass her knowledge on to the young artists she teaches!
Outside of the acting realm, Michelle loves animals, especially whales and dolphins. Her happy place is on a boat trying to catch sight of a fin or two! She also is an avid bookworm, and loves curling up with her two cats, Chip and Dale, on rainy day with a novel and a Chai latte!
