Acting Instructor

Lindsey is an Austin native but calls Charlotte her home. She discovered her love for the theater at a very young age playing the gatekeeper of OZ in an elementary school production, and began taking the business more seriously while living in Lyon, France where she studied under Alexander Laube at the Line Theater. Moving away from all her friends and family to live abroad for her father’s job she found out how important community was, and the value of the friendships in theater. In high school, she studied theater at Northwest School of The Arts and began performing professionally.

As an adult, she has continued professional work, studied Improv at the Groundlings, and worked behind the camera as a costume designer on film and commercials. Acting has been an essential form of ‘creative therapy’ for Lindsey as she works through trauma by expressing it in her art. She strives to create a safe learning environment for her students and is passionate about making everyone feel comfortable and welcome to express themselves completely without any judgment.
